Compulsive about checking out birds and wildflowers when outdoors (there is always something to look at).
Don't smoke, don't drink alcohol or coffee. Don't swear much (zero f-words). I think kids are fun (usually, don't have any of my own)
Most enjoyable activities:
A cozy cuddle by a campfire in the evening, snuggling together on a sofa while reading a book or watching a romantic comedy, a quiet paddle in a kayak or canoe, might get up early or stay up late to watch a lunar eclipse, back-country camping and off-road exploring, checking out libraries and book stores, strolling hand-in-hand in the woods to unwind and escape the commotion of everyday life.
Some miscellaneous stuff: I still love learning. I'm not interested in hockey, baseball or football. My life-long alcohol consumption would fit in a six-pack and ended 50 years ago. I once tried to smoke a cigar butt that I found in the gutter when I was eight, and I haven't smoked since. I'm a pretty patient guy. I'm irresistibly drawn to libraries and book stores. Dogs and cats are mostly fun. I have two left feet. I perpetually wear cargo pants/shorts and double-pocket shirts in order to carry things I might need. I tend to be a "giver", not a "taker", and will happily do most household chores. I find vacuuming the house and washing the floors to be quite satisfying, but dusting is irritating.
What I am looking for
Companionship during my favorite activities.
Someone to go exploring on foot, by kayak or canoe, in a side-by-side, or in a 4x4, in search of birds and wildflowers or a beautiful place to camp or have a picnic.
